About war
Monday 11th May 2020 - 8 pm - Musée de l'Armée, Hôtel des Invalides
Reflecting the darkness and oppression of the German Occupation during the Second World War, which tried to silence the voice of many Resistant artists such as Aragon, Desnos or Cassou, whose poems were set to music, notably by Poulenc and Dutilleux, Aedes adds a deeply moving dimension to this sublime programme, conceived on the theme of emotion and mingling sacred and profane music, inviting our listeners to reflect and elevate their spirit.
